2011 – salt bath bluing and acid etching, as well as patina work.
2010 – precious metal wire wrapping.
2009 – high end knives that can be user disassembled - on going.
2008 – engraving for stone setting and precious metal wire inlay - on going.
2007 – invisible screw construction of folding knives.
2006 – wax carving for lost wax carvings and precious stone settings.
2005 – hands on forging of carbon steels through self study and with Ken Watt of Eagle Eye Knives. Experimental forgings of high alloy stainless steels - on going.
2004 – Gold and silver work, including but not limited to stone settings, soldering and manipulation with Nicky Boehnisch of Forged Storm Jewelry.
2003 – ongoing studies of heat treating, as it relates to high alloy steels and stainless steels. Focus on different atmospheres including salt bath and argon medium.
2002 – design and making of first folding knife.
1994 – 2002, evolutionary studies in knifemaking throughout combination of precious metal and gems stones within my art pieces.
