This upscale carving knife and fork set have been designed for ease of use, while keeping the overall appearance elegant. BG 42 steel was selected for its edge holding ability and stain resistance. Both pieces are balanced perfectly, letting one slice with ease and minimal pressure. The Santo's Mahogany was veneered with Elder burl for a subtle but complementing contrast with the iron wood handles of the fork and knife. The bolsters as well as the pins have been textured to add another dimension to the set. The ironwood is a somewhat unusual combination of light and dark color, adding to the overall appearance. This box in it self would sit proudly in any dining room.
