Ghost Town Dagger with Maple Burl Handle

Ghost Town Dagger by Haslinger
Ghost Town Dagger by Haslinger additional view

An gentlemen dagger with a CPM S60V blade, that was satin finished by hand, makes the business end of this great dagger.

Back in the days of the gold diggers a dagger like it might have been a common carry. Maybe not as fancy, but designed to do the job.

The blade is fairly wide and fully flat ground at only a thickness of just under 3/16". The sides of the blade, just below the guard have been diamond textured to add a subtle texture in a otherwise smooth knife.

A sculpted guard, from Fritz Schneider stainless Damascus, butt's up to an African Sodalite spacer, which in turn rest against the maple burl handle. The handle was shaped in a geometric pattern.
