The blade has been forged out of Campo del Cielo meteorite with a core of O1 tool steel. Solid Campo del Cielo Meteorite bolsters have have been etched and then hot salt blued to a spectacular display of colors. Nickle inclusions (lines) highlight the boundaries of the different steel compositions within the meteorite.
Select earth tone mammoth ivory scales make the handle. Both the mammoth ivory scales, as well as the bolster have been invisible fastened to the tang, so as not to take away from the beauty and flow of the materials.The spine of the knife has been fileworked to add an elegant touch to this upscale using knife. A small of the back carry leather sheath accompanies this knife.
