While a small knife in the hands of any skilled person this knife would be capable of skinning and quartering a moose. This style of knife is popular with the bird hunter or would serve equally well as a trout knife. Many a young first time hunter does well with an appropriated sized knife of my design.
Of full tang design, it weights a merely 40 grams (1.41 oz) without the sheath. The desert ironwood handle has been fastened with stainless pins. The friction fit sheath is of oak tanned cowhide and was overlaid with stingray in a Shagreen finish.
