Going more into an art direction this folder has a secret compartment...

Patterned after historic pieces this friction folder sports a hidden compartment to hold treasures. While no fasteners are visible the folder can be fully disassembled. The blade is made from a horseshoe file and band saw steel. The bolsters are of the same steel, forged into a different pattern and caustic hot

salt bath blued. The scroll thumb rest was hand forged and file worked the same as the spine. Premium mammoth ivory in golden and brown hues add a touch of subtle elegance to this periodic piece. The compartment itself is not visible once the folder is closed. An internal spring and two ball detentes hold the "bail release" in a closed position, so opening it will require a good push with ones thumb.

Little know facts about shipping: FOB (ownership transfer point) is when the product is given to the shipping agent (carrier). Products paid for and held by Haslinger Knives at Customer’s request will be held at Customer’s risk and expense. All loss and damage issues must be settled with the shipper. If so required I will provide assistance to you to resolve any shipper disputes. This process can be at time lengthy, so your patience is appreciated.

International Customers:

I welcome international customer purchases. Lost international shipments will not be replaced. I suggest you purchase shipping insurance to cover loss or damage. Customer is responsible for payment of all import and duty charges your country might collect.

All International shipment orders are shipped via Canada Post. Upon customer request, I can ship via other methods, however they tend to be pricey. Rates are published at your carrier of choices website.

If you would like insurance, I will purchase such and bill you accordingly. All international purchases will be billed via PayPal invoice. You are not required to have a PayPal account to pay this invoice.

Custom and Imports into your country are regulated by your countries applicable Laws. It is your responsibility to ensure you are aware of such Laws and Import Restrictions.
